Comic Resume #1

In Illustration on November 19, 2011 at 12:38 am

The idea behind doing a comic book resume is this: Have you ever sat at a table next to a kid’s cereal box, and not wanted to read the back of it, but still read it?

When something is visual, dynamic and doesn’t ask for a lot of investment, it can be difficult to ignore.

Long ago, I believed I wanted a job for a media agency, and designed this resume as a way to stand out. I ended up getting work, but not the kind I intended– I’ve since received commissions to make these for other people!

In the meantime, the updated version of this will be a lot less text heavy– everyday I’m finding more ways to communicate with fewer words.
